Gain a better understanding of the factors that influence successful recruitment and retention of women in technical and manufacturing careers across Colorado.
Project goals are:
- According to the National Science Foundation, women hold only 27% of science and engineering jobs in the U.S.
- Conduct a broad survey, individual interviews, and focus groups with clean energy companies to better understand the gap between their workforce need and the female talent pool.
- Results will be used to drive new projects specifically geared to target these gaps and increase the professional the technical talent pool for Colorado’s clean energy employers.
