Growing the demand for women in clean energy, supporting employers in accessing, retaining and advancing women in their organization, the CO C3E Female Veterans Program stewards the transition from active duty, unemployment, or homelessness to the civilian energy workforce.

Project goals:

  • Launch a campaign so that the roughly 70 female Veterans separating from active duty each month will have a better understanding of what clean energy careers are available.
  • At present, there is a 31% unemployment rate among Veterans 21 to 30 years old; this number is a staggering 55% for female Veterans.
